Responsible for: Maintaining and Installing electrical assets under complex conditions within a chilled food production environment. Qualifications: Time served Electrician trained to 16th Edition of IEE Wiring Regulations: BS7671 (Minimum 4 years training). Specialist Knowledge: Experience of working in a production environment. Main Duties: Maintain Health & Safety Standards and Hygiene Standards. Maintain a wide range of production and Utility equipment. Electrical maintenance of control panels using thermo graphic camera. PA testing. Fault finding on motor control circuits & equipment. Maintain and safely operate power tools and equipment. Testing mechanical, electrical utilities/services and fluid power equipment. Refurbish equipment prior to service in production. Building small control panels. Work to high standard within the required timescale. Carryout any other duties as directed by the Engineering Manager. Qualities: Able to communicate at all levels. Have a friendly approach in order to develop positive working relationships. The ability to respond quickly and effectively to the ever-changing working environment. Able to work on your own or part of a team. Flexibility is essential.
