Responsible for Maintaining engineering assets within a chilled food production environment. Qualifications: 4 years apprenticeship with relevant City & Guilds Craft Certificates. Specialist knowledge: Experience of working in a food production environment. Duties: Maintain Health & Safety standards. Maintain Hygeine Standards, Maintain a wide range of production & Utility equipment. Operation & maintenance of Effluent plant, refurbish equipment prior to service in production. Daily maintenance of guns, maintain and safely operate tools and equipment. Testing mechanical, electrical, utilities/services and fluid power equipment. Fabricating one off components. Turning one off components. Work to a high standard within the required timescale. Carryout any other duties as directed by the engineering Manager. Personal Qualities: Able to communicate at all levels. Have a friendly approach in order to develop positive working relationships. The ability to respond quickly and effectively to the ever-changing working environment. Able to work on your own or part of a team. Flexibility is essential.
