Role: Senior Project Accountant
Location: Dyce, Aberdeen
Source's client is looking to recruit a Senior Project Accountant.
Tasks:
The Senior Project Accountant is responsible to the Project Accounting Manager for:
assisting Project Accounting Manager to manage the resources assigned to him/her
ensuring that the quality of invoices and charge process allow for timely
payment from clients
liaison with clients to resolve outstanding debt in conjunction with credit control team
preparation and input of information for compilation of monthly accounts including W.I.P and provision accrual
participating in the review of existing departmental procedures and delivering, where necessary, new proposals
maximising profits and minimising loss in all projects
monitoring performance trends
input into annual budgets and maintaining three-month rolling forecast
undertaking monthly profit and loss reviews
