This is a standalone role providing local IT setup and support, with functional reporting to the Regional IT Manager in London.

Job Description
The key dimensions of the role are:
Provide a supporting interface between the local operations and the London based IT team
Liaise with IT team to maintain consistency of processes and procedures
Configuring new PCs, laptops, printers etc and installing relevant software as appropriate
Setting up new users into the network in conjunction with the IT team
Provide first line technical support to office based staff
Assist home workers with IT setup and technical support
Administer system back-up sets and monitor
Liaison with technical departments from partner network providers
Maintain key items of data, including software licensing, hardware acquisition and user support requests in conjunction with the IT team. Subsequently, report data when required to the Regional IT Manager
Carry out and help implement the regional IT procedures and the overall IT policy of the Group
Assist IT team with maintaining and upgrading the network and interfacing with the Europe wide area network
Candidate Specification
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Ability to rapidly diagnose and resolve problems with desktops, laptops, printers and IP networks
Proficient in Microsoft applications with excellent administration and strong interpersonal/communication skills
Proactive, able to manage a varied and busy workload
A keen interest and aptitude in general Information Systems technologies
