Our prestigious client, renowned through out the oil and gas industry, is looking to recruit an Electrical Project Engineer to join their successful team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the coordination of electrical aspect of projects from contract award, detailed engineering, instructions to draughtsman and compile material lists, maintaining technical and commercial control, maintaining schedule, client and subcontractor liaison, inputting to estimates and proposals, ability to convene contract review meetings, liaising with clients on technical & commercial issues, maintaining accurate and current project files both manual and computer database systems, this list of duties is not endless in anyway and may change at any time - providing variety to the role. The ideal candidate will be able to familiarise themselves with all the companies processes and procedures, abide by all company policies and assist during audits when required.
The successful candidate will be expected to comply at all times with companies Health & Safety at Work requirements, maintain a culture of Health & Safety excellence throughout the business, abide by and assist with the risk assessment program, undertake Health & Safety training when requested.
A formal electrical engineering qualification is preferred with suitable experience in a similar role. The ability to multi-task in areas other than electrical discipline is ideal.
