Our client, a company renowned throughout the oil and gas industry, is looking to recruit a Project Engineer to join their successful team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and monitoring project plans and timelines, monitoring budgets as agreed by the project owner, producing/checking/approving engineering documentation as required, checking PDM entry as required, functionally supervising and mentoring engineers and drafters and fully familiarising themselves with the operation of engineering systems and software packages.
Candidate will be expected to become actively involved in engineering meetings, and reviews as required and perform all tasks in accordance with company quality procedures and be fully familiar with group standards.
This position operates within Group Engineering, and requires a technical understanding of engineering standards, practices and procedures.
This position requires excellent time management, accurate time writing and work prioritisation to demonstrate effective usage of time.
The main activity is working on Engineering projects to fulfil the requirements of Group Engineering clients, and to produce all required documentation such that equipment can be manufactured, assembled, tested and operated safely, efficiently and with minimal non conformances and corrective actions - all within timescales and budgets as agreed.
The ideal candidate will have a Relevant Degree with area specific Oil and Gas industry knowledge and a minimum 5 years relevant engineering and/or operations and a working knowledge of Engineering systems, standards, practices and project software.
