Outstanding opportunity exists for a highly experienced, qualified accountant to assume a position within a market-leading oil and gas heavyweight based in Aberdeen.
This is a fantastic chance to develop your skills and experience in a largely autonomous role, reporting directly to the finance manager and provide business support services to the Asset team whilst managing financial relationships.

Must have experience of UK and US GAAP accounting and reporting

Will ideally have experience of the Oil & Gas sector

Although not an exhaustive list, the key competencies and responsibilities associated with role include:
Provide Financial and Commercial Support to the Asset team
Managing finance relationship with the Asset team generally and the Asset Leader specifically promoting financial and commercial awareness.
Supporting the Asset team to achieve the OOS organisational objectives
Ensuring the integrity of the financial reporting and control framework ensuring compliance with all group policies.
Communication of operational information from asset team to finance shared services team and supporting the interface between projects and the asset team.
Facilitating the preparation of the asset forecast / budget ensuring business input, review and action
Delivering monthly financial reporting
Working closely with the Commercial (Team), prepare and monitor vessel rates
Preparation of cashflow projections
Preparation, review and action of cost control reporting
Preparation and monitoring afes and co-ordination of capital utilisation review
Review and application of appropriate financial controls.
Review of UK and overseas tax compliance and planning.
Ad hoc financial support.
