Our client, an extremely successful, high profile company in the oil and gas industry are seeking to recruit a Draughtsperson to add value to the companies engineering product design and development.
The successful candidate will be expected to prepare clear assembly and layout drawings in alignment with department standards, support in the design and review of new products, perform mathematical analysis at component level and perform tolerance studies at assembly level. The successful candidate will have direct involvement in design, which will focus around less complex problems and technologies and will be supporting the Engineering team in meeting the ongoing requirements of the business.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the consistent output of high quality detail drawings, preparing check layouts from approved detail drawings, providing Engineering assistance to the Quality Assurance departments, the conducting of the design analysis and entering precise technical data into the computer database.
Its preferable that the successful candidate has 2 years relevant industry experience, experience of 3D CAD and will have a relevant technician/craft apprenticeship. An ONC in a relevant Engineering discipline would be advantageous.
