Role - Accounting Supervisor
Location - Aberdeen
International Service client are looking for Qualified Accountant to oversee the accounting function.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees month-end close and daily fixed assets transactions.
Review Fixed Assets roll forward and supporting schedules.
Supervise , train and evaluate Senior and Staff accountants.
Handles special projects, as assigned.
Possess the ability to run reports in SAP and be proficient in the use of Excel worksheets to produce ad hoc reports as needed.
Reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal vouchers, accounting methods and procedures.
Review monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
Identify opportunities to improve current processes.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting.
EXPERIENCE:
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting.
CA/ACCA/CIMA preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
Inter-company knowledge a plus.
Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices and have a working knowledge of Uk statutory requirements.
Sound Level of experience required.
