Our client, a prestigious company in the oil and gas industry, is looking to recruit a Project Controls Manager to join their successful team.
Key Competencies:
- Manage day to day aspects of a project and scope.
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Manage methodology and enforce project standards.
- Provide leadership and build good relationships with clients.
- Review existing forecasting process & recommend changes in approach.
- Reviews forecast and present results to Project Management & clients.
- Reviews forecast with project Team to focus awareness of the forecast.
- Review Project Status wit Project Management including risk and contingency issues with regard to internal reporting of quarterly profit forecasts.
- Taking account of Risks, propose ways of mitigating adverse cost and schedule trends - monitor results.
- Periodic checks on forecast against trending from past projects or bench marking data.
The ideal candidate will be professionally qualified with a relevant business/ commercial background, will have a similar experience of commercial contracts in a high value environment, will have good communication and negotiation skills, will be self motivated and highly analytical, computer literate and will be confident and assertive with the ability to development relationships both internally and externally.
