My client is looking for a Signal Processing Engineer for a 12 months contract (with a possible extension depending on other projects) to work with our IT department and a team of Well Engineers.
The position requires analysis of time domain data (aka waveforms) generated by our gauges representing vibrations. The end result should be a set of mathematical models that successfully reveal the useful information hidden in the waveforms. Then a synthesis of the most appropriate/successful models will be chosen, and the IT team would implement them to automate the analysis of these waveforms. The successful candidate should be an expert on Fourier transformation, time domain and frequency domain filtering, power spectrums, convolution and autocorrelation.
