Our client, a very successful company in the oil and gas industry are looking to recruit two Senior Design Engineers to join their prestigious team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing/checking/approving engineering documentation as required and check PDM entry as required, functionally supervising and mentoring engineers and drafters, performing all tasks in accordance with the company, fully familiarising themselves with operation of engineering systems and software packages, actively be involved in engineering meetings and reviews as required and operating in a professional manner as a representative of the company group engineering.
This position operates within Group Engineering, and requires a technical understanding of engineering standards, practices and procedures.
This position requires excellent time management, accurate time writing and work prioritisation to demonstrate effective usage of time.
The main activity is working on Engineering projects to fulfil the requirements of Group Engineering clients, and to produce all required documentation such that equipment can be manufactured, assembled, tested and operated safely, efficiently and with minimal non-conformances and corrective actions.
The ideal candidate will have a Relevant Degree with area specific Oil and Gas industry knowledge, a minimum 5 years relevant engineering and/or operations and a working knowledge of Engineering systems, standards and practices.
