Our client, a prestigious company renowned throughout the oil and gas industry are seeking to recruit a Mechanical Hydraulic Engineer to join their successful team due to growth.
Supporting the Senior Engineers, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design of hydraulic systems, preparation of tenders and documentation packages, including the production of drawings and spreadsheets. The successful candidate will be required to carry out the occasional site work and will be expected to work well with others and work by themselves using their own initiative.
The ideal candidate will posses a minimum of 3-4 years experience in mechanical and hydraulic control systems and equipment and will be qualified to a minimum level of HND in a relevant engineering discipline. Applicants should also possess good communication and PC skills for liaison with other internal departments, customer and suppliers.
The successful candidate will be accountable for managing ongoing projects as required, liaising with clients, providing quotations to customer, planning mechanical/hydraulic activities and ensuring mechanical/hydraulic solutions offered are compliant with legislation and internal procedures. Candidate must be able to read, understand and provide CAD drawings and will be required to carry out offshore work in a technical/supervisory role.
