Job Purpose:
To manage and coordinate the Offshore Team.
To provide technical assistance and support to the team as and when required.
To support the Workshop Supervisor and Project Engineer during all Factory Acceptance Tests within the company.
Main Responsibilities:
Act as focal point for any offshore queries;
Coordination of any Paperwork / documentation / requests sent in from offshore - distribution of and expediting answers thereof;
Personnel Appraisals
Coordinate / attend any kick off / project meetings
Attend HAZID meetings as required;
Attend any onshore/vendor inductions;
Coordinate / Attend any Factory Acceptance Tests;
Assist with mobbing / demobbing equipment
Ensuring offshore tools and equipment are kept within certification and managing their exchange where required;
Assist with the coordination any training requirements for offshore personnel - submission of training requests and notifying offshore where applicable;
Attend / coordinate post job close out meetings / lessons learnt
Daily update with Operations Manager
To provide cover for colleagues during holidays and illness.
Individual Quality and Safety Responsibilities:
To comply with Company and Client quality, safety and environmental management systems and procedures at all times.
Ensure all accidents/incidents/near misses/hazards are immediately reported and relevant paper work is completed

-Proven track record in People Management
-Sound engineering / oil &gas experience
-Offshore experience
-Engineering skills developed through several years working in multi-disciplined engineering background.
Ability to read & understand engineering drawings / techniques and material specifications etc
Understanding of various methods of manufacture
