    Source People are representing an internationally recognised Oil & Gas service company in their Search for a new member of their Commercial Contracts team. This is one of the larges organisations within the industry and the position will be located in their office in North Aberdeen.

    The job will include the following:
    Providing legal services related to customer contracts.
    Reviewing, drafting, and modifying customer contracts to comply with company contracting guidelines,
    Preparing associated documentation.
    Updating the contracts database with entries for work performed and review status.
    Negotiate routine contract revisions with customers.
    Provide basic risk assessments and advice regarding routine contractual risk issues.
    Communicate with division personnel regarding contracting policies, procedures and processes.
    May conduct contract training seminars for company sales and marketing personnel and other departments.
    May assist in training new hires in contracts department.
    Handle special projects, as assigned.

    This is a position for someone with some industry experience who is looking to progress in their chosen profession and candidates will be expected to have previous experience of contracts departments and the Oil & Gas industry. Candidates should also possess the following attributes/skills:

    Advanced PC Skills.
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    Detail oriented and results focused.
    Strong negotiation skills.
    Experience working with internal and external customers as related to contracts administration.
    Understanding of contract law and related legal concepts including practical application in a business environment.
    Understanding of business and cultural environment and customs across assigned region.
    Ability to work independently and make decisions.
    Commitment to customer service, and to working in a team oriented environment.
    Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
    Ability to think analytically and creatively.
    Ability to travel.
    Bilingual candidates will be preferred although this is not essential.
