Role - Africa Analyst
Location - Aberdeen
Leading service company are seeking part or fully qualified Accountant to join their team in Analyst role.
The position includes providing financial support in the areas of general accounting, planning, financial analysis and financial reporting for the Africa Region
Will prepare, review and analyse accounting data to ensure accurate, timely and reliable reporting of financial results.
Is a business partner with the Africa Area Operations Manager.
Will also support various projects for operations, compliance and finance as required.
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Operations accounting, planning and reporting experience a plus.
International foreign currency experience a plus.
Must possess a strong sense of commitment and ability to meet deadlines.
Leadership qualities.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to handle multiple activities successfully.
Ability to work with little supervision.
Team player.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent.
Part or fully qualified Accountant preferred.
EXPERIENCE
Working knowledge of Hyperion and SAP preferred
Must be familiar with US/UK generally accepted accounting principles and have a good sense of internal controls
Extensive proven experience preferred.
