Full Description:
ROLE:
- To proactively assist in the maintenance, awareness and development of the companys Quality Management System and to provide information, advice and support to personnel within this department
To supervise and be accountable for our clients quality assurance requirements.
- To work in a safe and cost effective manner that is in line with company policy and standards
- Maintaining and managing the quality processes, procedures and plans operated within companys Project Group in accordance with ISO9001: 2000 and maintaining accreditation accordingly.
- Capable of understanding, & analysing client tender specifications generating quality plans where the Standard Quality Plan is not suitable, & advising the Business Unit on implications of specific Quality Assurance requirements.
- Maintain and manage interfaces between companys departments to ensure understanding and compliance with specific companys QA requirements.
- Investigate cases of non-compliance, product or service, and arrange corrective action - in conjunction with Supplier QA Engineer and Clients accordingly
- Maintain certified body approval of companys Integrated Management System
- Prepare, deliver and execute Management Reviews.
- Maintain and manage the quality processes and procedures operated
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance practices and procedures
- Knowledge of Certification of Materials
- Good computer literacy especially with Word, Excel, Adobe and electronic mail systems
