- Creating procedures and Maintaining O&M Manuals
- Liaising with Project Sales and External Sales on background information for the project to aid process of establishing O&M manual template
- Establishing and maintaining communication with Engineering during all design stages of project and create draft outlines of the required O&M manual procedures
- Establishing and maintaining communication with the Technical Writing group within Field Service in Houston and be a single point contact for all Eastern Hemisphere O&M manual/procedures activity
- Attending project and engineering meetings to stay current with the project development at these levels and amend draft outlines of procedures accordingly. Reviewing technical specification sheets for relevant information
- Establishing in conjunction with external sales and project sales, customer contact and liaison as early as possible during the project to agree manual outline with the customer and ensure that all relevant information required for the procedures are included
- Creating and issuing draft outline procedures to Houston for formatting into formal procedures (with graphics, tables, charts etc.) Identifying drawings and illustrations as necessary to supplement descriptions.
- Issuing of O&M manuals and maintaining a log of their distribution
- Maintaining O&M manual upkeep ensuring library is properly indexed and that manuals are maintained at current revision levels. Setting up a file for draft information for repeated usage in future O&M manuals.
- Ensuring that all controlled manuals are maintained to the latest revision level
- Assisting Houston with generation of procedure/manual templates for core products such as valves.
