Our client are specialists in the design of customised downhole solutions and they are looking for a Senior Cased Hole Field Engineer.
Candidate will be working within the Operations group, and will be trained to run a combination of services covering Cased Hole and the clients Hydraulically Expanded Completion Technologies.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in a Science / Engineering discipline, (preferably in the Oil and Gas industry - though not essential), who are keen to develop their skills. Based in Aberdeen you will be required to travel to sites & offshore locations
Successful candidate will be involved with
Planning & preparing activities related to client requirements attending pre-job meetings,
assigning suitable equipment, checking calibration & operation of assigned equipment,
packing & supervising transport of assigned equipment & arranging mobilisation of
personnel
Installing, setting up, testing, calibrating, performing operations, maintaining & operating
assigned equipment
Direct operations in consultation with client representative & logging programme & have
responsibility for supervision, safety, training & performance of subordinates at client sites
Attending post-job meetings, completing & submitting relevant paperwork, preparing PLT,
Final Reports when required, to Client requirements & maintaining equipment.
Essential Skills / Competencies
Minimum HND in a Science / Engineering discipline or relevant industry competence
Proven competence in the principles of Cased Hole Logging Services or equivalent
Knowledge in the running and maintenance of Sondex Cased Hole logging tools or equivalent
Willingness to work internationally
Essential Skills / Competencies
Preferable background in offshore operations to a recognised QHSE International standard
Full Current UK Driving Licence
