Our client are specialists in the design of customised downhole solutions and they are looking for a Field Engineer to join their team.
Working within the Operations group, candidate will be trained to run a combination of services covering Cased Hole and the clients Hydraulically Expanded Completion Technologies.
This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in a Science / Engineering discipline, (preferably in the Oil and Gas industry - though not essential) and who are keen to develop their skills.
Based in Aberdeen you will be required to travel to sites & offshore locations.
Successful candidate will be involved with
Planning & preparation of field activities
Testing and maintaining Production Logging & Hydraulically Expandable Tubular
Service (HETS) tools for operations
Installing, setting up, testing, calibrating, performing operations, maintaining & operating
assigned equipment
Operating equipment during field activities in line with company QHSE practices
Performing quality control measures on recorded data and compiling field reports
Possibility of cross training in VSP operations
Essential Skills / Competencies
Minimum HND in a Science / Engineering discipline or relevant industry competence
Preferable background in offshore operations to a recognised QHSE International standard
Willingness to work internationally & capacity to adapt to working in other cultures
Desirable Skills / Competencies
Proven competence in testing and maintenance of VSP / Production Logging / Expandable tools
Mechanical or Electrical background would be advantageous
Full Current UK Driving Licence
