Description
Our client is a growing consultancy in the Aberdeen are who would like to capitalise on opportunities in the market by recruiting a Director for the Aberdeen business.
Based in Aberdeen, the role will involve the management of small teams of specialists providing project control, project services, contract services and management consultancy to their European and global Clients as well as develop business opportunities and have P&L responsibilities.
The position is expected to be a joint fee generation and management role with a strong emphasis on the three main competencies of Technical, Operational Management and Business Development. The initial split on personal fee production and management is expected to be 70:30 with a move towards a more hands off approach as the team in Aberdeen grows.
With responsibilities as outlined above duties will include:
- Leadership of small teams
- Operational management of the business including P+L responsibility for the Aberdeen office
- Personal production of fees through taking on tasks relevant to skill set
- Manage and develop client relationships
- Interface with the Central Belt business including financial reporting Skills
The vacancy on offer with our client has a balance of personality, technical ability and operational management experience within its core competencies. However, it is expected that the suitable individual for the role will be working in a senior role for either an Owner/Operator, Consultancy or Service company in one or more of the following roles:
