Leading organisation, based near Aberdeens city centre, are looking to recruit a Hire Coordinator to join their procurement logistics department.

Hire Coordinator
To deal with the implementation, management and day to day co-ordination of the companys Hire management system, including but not limited to:
Determine what equipment is being hired from all third party vendors. Ensuring that the correct procurement numbers are in place, and pricing is accurate.
Manage a log of all equipment hired from all third party vendors; ensuring that the equipment is tracked by Procurement Number, Vessel, Project, Job Number, and Serial Number.
Track all equipment on a daily basis, including onhires, offhires, and vessel to vessel transfers.
Ensure that damages, losses are reported to the vendor in a timely manner, and replacement costs, or repair costs are monitored. Create utilisation reports for the purpose of supplying cost control, project managers, and third party suppliers with relevant information.
Check all third party hire invoices to ensure that the utilisation is accurate, and the costs reflect procurement procedures.
To revise all procurement documents in relation to third party hire equipment, to ensure the number of days, prices and quantities reflect the requirement of the projects / vessels
To query any third party hire vendor whos invoice does not reflect the procurement documents, or any information provided via hire log, or directly from projects / vessels.
Provide assistance to the Transport and Warehouse teams with regards to replacement values for all hire equipment.
Provide assistance to the Transport and Warehouse teams with regards to outward manifest numbers, and other relevant information.
Skills and Experiences
Experience in a similar environment. Experience in the design and management of hire co-ordination spreadsheets or systems. Hire management experience in the Oil & Gas industry for a wide range of goods
Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to use own initiative.
Ability to work as part of a team and to build effective working relationships.
Ability to effectively manage own workload, and work within given timescales (both internal and external), ensuring project requirements are met.
Educated to secondary level. Competent Microsoft Office Suite user
