To provide a service to carry out Management ( Type 2 ) surveys in Housing and Non-Housing properties.

To be responsible for carrying out Management (Type 2) surveys including bulk sampling all in accordance with the Asbestos Regulations 2006.

To be responsible for producing final reports all in accordance with the Asbestos Regulations 2006.

Responsible to the Building Surveying Manager for assisting in the management of the Asbestos records.

Taking ownership of all property addresses within an individual project.

Arranging access to properties and meeting with Head of Establishment or tenant of house.

Undertake all bulk sampling during survey and send to consultants for testing.

To be responsible for producing final reports all in accordance with the Asbestos Regulations 2006.

Responsible for collating all survey input and certificates into asbestos surveys.

Responsible for forwarding survey report to Support Services for input to Omega Software System.

Responsible to the Building Surveying Manager for signing off complete and final survey reports.

To be responsible to the Building Surveying Manager for assisting in the management of the Asbestos Records.

To be responsible for surveys delegated by Building Surveying Manager.

Accessing and producing information for Building Surveying Manager from asbestos records.

To be responsible for keeping records up to date.

Prepare weekly reports for all surveys carried out.

Attend meetings when required.

Experience
Relevant experience to carrying out Management ( type 2 ) surveys in Housing and Non-Housing properties including bulk sampling and completion of survey information.
Appreciation and understanding of the format and working methods of Local Government.

Qualifications
P402 certification of equal and approved
