Abrecco wish to recruit, on behalf of our multinational communications client, a Support Specialist to join a thriving and expanding organisation based in Aberdeen. You will be joining a team responsible for the support of various Voice and Data technologies on a rotational shift basis. To be considered for this role you should have the following:
Essential:
- Extensive proven commercial Voice and Data technical support experience
- Advanced knowledge of IP routing and switching, Frame-Relay, MPLS and VoIP (Including QoS)
- Installation, configuration & troubleshooting of Voice and Data; RF, Network and satellite communication systems.
- Vendor experience with iDirect, SeaTel, Comtech, Anacom, Codan, Vertex etc
- Satellite communications or TDMA (iDirect, ViaSat, SeaTel etc)
Desirable:
- Cisco (CCNA, CCNP)
- Degree or similar in an IT or Electronics discipline.
- Oil and gas, marine or military experience
