Job Description

For one of our clients, we are currently looking for an Internal Audit Senior to join this multinational organisation, Reporting into the UK Audit Manager, the successful candidate will help deliver the 2010 Internal Audit plan.

Key measures/Dimensions:

• €¢Adherence to audit schedule

• €¢Adequacy and quality of working papers

• €¢Timely issuance of audit reports

• €¢Quality of audit reports

• €¢Feedback received from audit clients and peers

Main duties/Accountabilities/KPI\' s:

• €¢Perform audits of all companies within the group in the UK

• €¢Undertake planning of audit engagements

• €¢Conduct fieldwork, documenting all work to high standards

• €¢Reporting to a high quality and to agreed timescales

• €¢Establishment of effective ongoing relationships with clients

• €¢Assisting Internal Management as needed

Skills & Knowledge Required

Competencies

• €¢Strong written and oral skills

• €¢Excellent interpersonal skills

• €¢Disciplined and self-motivated

• €¢Time management

• €¢Ability to work on own or in a team

• €¢Professional demeanour

Technical skills & knowledge

• €¢ACCA/ACA/IIA qualified

• €¢Insurance specific knowledge would be of benefit

Experience

• €¢Strong external or internal audit experience required

• €¢Life Insurance knowledge would be preferential
