In preparation for the retirement of the Maintenance Manager our client (a global hotel organisation) are seeking to employ for this position.

As Maintenance Manager you will be responsible for the effective management of all engineering and maintenance operations within the resort. You will be maintaining and repairing resort properties (99 lodges), their contents and external grounds to a high standard.

Duties:

Leading your team in the day to day engineering and maintenance operations of the resort including service standards, equipment schedules and work schedules
Liaising with Housekeeping to co-ordinate and prioritise maintenance activities for lodges and public areas
Developing systems and procedures to ensure the health and safety of guests, Team Members, plant, machinery and property, Controlling supplies, stock levels and operating budget for the department Identifying and introducing environment friendly systems and equipment
Monitoring Key Performance Indicators for the Engineering Department and taking corrective action as required – equipment inventory, quality audit, productivity, etc
Responsibility for all Team Member related activities including recruitment, performance management, training, career planning, disciplinary matters and team motivation.

Requirements:

Experience in a senior position with extensive working knowledge of Engineering operations, preferably in the hotel industry
Strong leadership skills and previous experience of managing a team
Someone who takes pride in their work and delivers great customer service
PC literate in World and Excel programs
Right to work in the UK & Ireland
