Our client, an enormously successful company in the oil and gas industry, wish to recruit a Project Coordinator to join their high profile team.
The successful candidate will be reporting to the Project Manager and will provide commercial, administrative and planning support for delivery of projects. The candidate will also be expected to interface with customers providing clear interpretation of the requirements from the project onset with the generation of good working relationships. The job description is not to be discovered exhausted, the role will require a contribution tot the other activities out with the scope of this job description, providing variety. The successful candidate will be accountable for the production of clear and concise tender applications with all relevant documentation, co-ordinating resources and general work with the team to deliver the highest quality projects to clients, maintaining project invoice templates, assisting with developing procedures and work practices, supporting the sales team on their operations, adhering to meeting deadlines and following up tender submissions and gathering customer feedback. The candidate will be expected to demonstrate a personal commitment to Quality, Health, Safety and the Environment. It is essential that the candidate must have a valid passport and driving license, be willing to travel is required and the candidate will be required to handle evening and weekend calls relating to the onshore and offshore projects.
The ideal candidate will preferably be educated to degree level but not essential depending on experience and proven track record. The ideal candidate will be flexible, self-motivated, and well organised with good team player ability but will also be able to work on their own using their own initiative when needed. The candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to pick up ideas quickly, and to see things through to completion with minimum supervision. The candidate will have appropriate experience in the subsea offshore oil and gas industry with relevant experience of handling projects. A good working knowledge of subsea tooling used in IRM and decommissioning environments would be beneficial as would be commercial/contractual experience. The ideal candidate will have good commercial awareness with a strong customer focus.
