Our client, an enormously successful company in the oil and gas industry, is seeking to recruit a Customer Account Manager to join their prestigious team. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively managing and developing key customer relationships within the market sectors served through the promotion of the companys broad product range and integrated solutions.
Responsibilities include Identifying and understanding specific customer requirements and focusing on specific opportunities,are expected to have an understanding of the competitors market and an understanding of the companies key supplier relationships, scope of support and develop key interfacing points within the organisation,knowing and understanding the department targets and objectives, ensuring that adequate cover is available for absence, understanding, agreeing and achieving personal objectives set by management.
Youwill also be expected to put forward any suggestions for improvements, adhere to the procedures as laid down by the Safety and Quality Management System and adhere to the procedures as laid down by the HR Management System and to take an active part in the Performance, Competence and Training Management Process.
Ideally candidates will have minimum of 2/3 years experience in similar role and experience of selling added value services, a proven ability in effective customer account management and relationship development within energy sector industries is also essential. Qualifications in Sales, Marketing, Commercial or Technical Produce would be beneficial but not deemedessential.
Candidates will have the ability to communicate effectively, conduct presentations to wide ranging audiences, plan and organise workloads to ensure optimum performance and the capability to maintain drive, enthusiasm and proactive performance. Competency in the use of Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint would be advantageous.
