| Technical Accountant Aberdeen Staff role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Accountant to join our client's Global Finance & Tax team. The position offers a diverse and challenging role, with good prospects for progression. The main responsibilities of this role are providing technical accounting advice (IFRS) around the group, Preparation of the consolidated group Annual Report and Providing input in respect of the Oslo Stock Exchange reporting / requirements. Additional duties will include the review and interpretation of Oslo Stock Exchange notices / additional requirements and a responsibility for ensuring the group's finance policies and procedures are up to date and complete. Additional support to the Group Finance Manager and/or Group Financial Controller as necessary. Candidates will ideally be CA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong technical and accounting knowledge (preferably IFRS) and be willing to work hard to drive the function forward. Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and SAP experience is an advantage. Education to a degree level is a requirement while experience in a Big four accounting firm would be an advantage.
