JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for preparing drawings, artwork and calculations within planned time schedules
Draft design layouts
Draft assembly and component drawings
Copy sketches, layouts and drawings prepared by others
Participate in the testing of prototypes
Responsible for correctly checking Bill of Materials
Work to procedures documented in P. Eng Specifications Manual associated with drawing control
Adherence to health and safety rules and regulations
General ad-hoc duties and special projects when required
EDUCATION & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Skills in the use of CAD, Solidworks I, Smart Team.
Ability to apply mathematical calculations to support tasks
Skills in the use of Microsoft Office
HNC or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of basic drafting techniques
Experience of designing with the use of CAD
Ability to work in a team and on own initiative
