Electrical Training Consultant
My client is acknowledged worldwide as a specialist-training provider within the Oil, Gas, Marine, Electrical, Transportation and Health & Safety industries. Their headquarters are based on the South side of Aberdeen.
They provide nationally recognised competence-based training and assessment in industrial situations. With over £10M invested in equipment and facilities, the Aberdeen training centre offers a collection of unique resources, giving realistic working environments for a range of industries.
The successful applicant will develop and deliver theoretical and practical electrical training programmes, ensuring all associated functions of preparation, assessment, verification and course development are undertaken.
It is essential that the candidate is from an electrical background, with an electrical qualification, and alsocompetent and confident in delivering presentations. If you are from a lecturing background and HNC or HND qualified this will be an advantage. It is would also be advantageous if the applicant has experience in High Voltage and knowledge of EX or Compex.
Main responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that safety is a priority matter in all training programmes
Ensure the ability of all electrical and simulation training resources by control of maintenance and defect rectification activities.
To develop new electrical training courses to meet client requirements including development of presentation and candidate manual materials
Participating in staff development programmes.
Preparing delegate reports as required by team leader.
