Opportunity for Qualified CA or ACCA (or equivalent) to join one of Scotland's top 100 companies. Based in Aberdeen city centre the role will involve:
Review and consolidate monthly management accounts from all Group Companies, analysing commercial performance and reporting this (P&L, B/S, Cashflow and full commentary).
Consolidation of Group Budgets from individual Budgets and Variance Analysis of key company variances between Actuals and Budgets.
Group consolidated Cash Forecasting and analysis.
Review of intercompany position.
Review of controls and processes - having a focus on process improvement and efficiencies.
Preparation of Group Consolidated Quarterly, Half Year and Annual reviews including responsibility for Annual Group Audit and Group Consolidated Statutory Accounts preparation and presentation.
Key contact and driver of successful, accurate and timeous Group Consolidated Statutory Accounts and Annual Audit sign-off. Responsible for development of Audit and Process implementation, documentation and control.
Group VAT and Intercompany reconciliation
Reporting responsibility to both Group Financial Controller and Group Financial Director
Pre-requisites:
Professional Qualification or equivalent experience
Competence in consolidation of Management/Statutory Accounts and supporting analysis to set timescales.
Analytical and investigative confident Self-Starter, either from a CA practice or industry background, who can draw on experience of Consolidation and Audit finalisation work to deliver consolidated monthly Management and Annual Statutory Financial Accounts to a high standard of professionalism.
