WORKING WITHIN A FIRM OF ABERDEEN ACCOUNTANTS, OPERATING FROM BOTH THEIR OFFICES AND THEIR CLIENTS OFFICES.
The work covers:-
Control all tax work in the firm.
Ensure all deadlines are met.
Carry out tax research for clients.
Carry out tax planning and tax clearances for clients.
Assist accounts preparation staff with any tax queries they have.
Liaise with external tax consultants if required on matters such as group reconstructions and international tax matters.
Ideally the candidate should be an ‘all rounder’, capable of dealing with clients on other aspects such as accounting, business plans etc
There is scope for further advancement within the firm.
The opportunity exists that the candidate can assist with business development.
The role includes being part of the firm’s management team.
