The main activity is taking a technical lead for hydraulics on major multi-discipline projects and all aspects of research and development projects. This applies to all companys subsea activities.
Involvement in technical and/or operational investigations.
Major contribution to the identification and development of existing and future development projects.
Ensuring the design process in the company is robust by chairing design reviews and performing technical audits.
Hydraulics technical authority.
Mentoring, coaching and long term development of a team of engineers.
Ensuring that the quality of service and products offered by the company to clients is suitable and fit for purpose.

The Candidate:
Suitable Degree or Masters qualification in relevant Engineering discipline or equivalent with a number of years relevant engineering experience.
Chartered Engineer preferred.
Practical operational experience.
Significant design experience.
Ability to identify, develop, problem solve complex hydraulics.
Ability to dictate and make technical judgments for new developments.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to interface and present to other parts of the business, clients and vendors.
The jobholder is required to be an effective, proactive and technically competent engineer that requires minimum supervision.
