A well known Oil and Gas company based in Aberdeen is looking for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join their busy Accounts team.
Role description:
As an Accounts Payable Assistant in Aberdeen, your main responsibilities will include;
• Registering supplier invoices.
• Posting invoices into the purchase ledger.
• Paying suppliers on a weekly basis.
• Updating monthly job costing.
• Supplier statement reconciliation.
• Liaising with suppliers to resolve queries.
• Staff expenses.
• Direct matching invoices to job.
• Creating nominal journals.
• Assist accountant with monthly accruals
Who we're looking for:
• Have a good general knowledge of the accounts payable process
• Preferably have Oil and Gas Industry experience
• Be systems literate,a knowledge of SAP would be advantageous
• Be a proactive communicator
